Yes, the Foo Fighters rock that hard! New Zealand's Geo Net blog reported via The Hollywood Reporter that the Foo's Dec. 13th concert in Auckland, New Zealand rocked so hard, it caused geologic tremors similar to a volcanic event! It was recorded that a strong low frequency of tremors were detected during the show about 1.5 and 2 kilometers from the venue, correlating to the highs and lows of the performance. The first vibrations were recorded around 7:30pm, part way thru Tenacious D's set, but the biggest shakes took place when the Foo Fighters took the stage, and then it got quiet at 11pm when the gig ended! I was having sushi the other night at Jasmine Restaurant on Sullivan Trail in Easton and noticed they had a GINA ROLL on special, so I took a picture of it with my camera phone. Not a great photo really since I cut off half the ingredients listed! However, I'm shellfish allergic to the first 2 ingredients listed: shrimp tempura & lobster salad! That's more like the GINA DEATH roll. The sushi & edamame I was able to eat was delicious!!

Kelly Osbourne has been released from a Miami hospital after being treated for a head injury. Kelly tweeted that she cracked her head open and kept passing out, but now she's in the clear..WTF? According to People magazine, she hit her head while dancing at a club. Mum Sharon revealed on her show The Talk today that a guy she was dancing with took her down for a dip, and as her head dipped down, she hit it on an amplifier and it split her head open. Kelly went back to her room, fainted twice, and was taken to a hospital where she received stitches and was told she had a concussion. Kelly was in Miami attending a model casting call for Madonna's clothing line. Sounds a little suspect to me. Sounds like she was pretty wasted at that club and Sharon is doing some damage control......

An irate Detroit Lions fan is so angry that the team has hired Nickelback to perform during Halftime at their annual Thanksgiving Day game, that he's started a petition on Facebook to have the band removed. His point is that Detroit is home to so many great musicians, like Kid Rock, Bob Seger & Eminem, so why did they chose the Canadian Nickelback? I just got back from picking up some Dunkin Tuna 'samiches for me & Brilliant for dinner. We both went for the multi-grain bagel, but Brilliant opted for the tuna melt, heated with a slice of cheese. I have a no "hot tuna" rule, so I just got it plain. Pretty good for a change of pace from the usual, and much easier than whipping up your own tuna salad. Enjoy!

In the drive-thru of the Qtown Dunkin Donuts this morning, I noticed the most wonderful thing: a poster promoting that K cups have arrived at Dunkin! They come 14 to a box in 5 flavors for $11.99. It's a little pricey, but the only place you can get them is at Dunkin. And for fellow Keurig coffee maker owners, I'm sure this is good news! Now when is Starbucks going to get on the K cup bandwagon?

I watched the long-awaited return of the last season of Entourage this Sunday night to see what happened after Eminem beat the crap out of Vince last season, and I barely recognized "Turtle!" Jerry Ferrara, who plays Vince's buddy "Turtle," has lost 55 pounds since shifting to a healthy diet in 2009 after being inspired by his ex, Jamie Lynn Sigler. What's kind of inspiring about his weight loss is that he didn't use fancy diets or a trainer, he just dropped burgers and fries in favor of hiking and healthy foods. Healthy eating and exercise does work. I've lost weight too in the last year or so by giving up the drive-thru in favor of daily push-ups, sit-ups & healthier choices. It will still take awhile to get used to looking at a smaller Turtle, but good for him!

With all the sad news this week with the deaths of MTV Jackass star Ryan Dunn and Clarence "The Big Man" Clemons from the E Street Band, I thought it would be nice to report some good news. 311 frontman Nick Hexum was forced to deliver his own daughter Maxine himself after his wife Nikki suddenly went into labor. The couple was planning to have the baby at home, but the midwife hadn't arrived yet as the baby arrived. There were some complications with the delivery, but the quick thinking, calm Hexum was able to rotate the baby after getting stuck in the birth canal. Pretty amazing story! Thankfully mother & baby are doing fine. Here's some very sweet photos of Nick and his new baby girl.

I blogged a few days ago about Jennifer Anniston's new relationship with writer/actor Justin Theroux. Word is Justin just ended his 14-year relationship with his live-in girlfriend Heidi Bivens, who moved out of their house just last weekend, (pictured here with Justin). Ouch! So the question is: is Jenn a home wrecker like Angelina was to her and Brad Pitt? I'm still in Jenn's corner. She' been very unlucky in love and she had some good karma payback coming to her after what she went thru with the whole Brangelina situation. And if you're living with someone for 14 years, sounds like an end is near in that relationship eventually anyway. I mean, if someone isn't going to marry you after dating for 14 years, it ain't happening ever. He' s just buying time until the real deal. Trust me on this. It doesn't take 14 years to figure that out! I feel bad for Justin's ex and their public break-up, but I'm still a member of Team Jenn!

The couple, who have 2 kids, are throwing a divorce party in Nashville this Friday. The couple said in a joint statement, "In honor of the time we shared, we are throwing a divorce party. An evening together in Nashville to re-affirm our friendship & celebrate the past & future with close friends & family." Sounds like a ploy to get more gifts on the divorce registry. Damn! You probably have seen the Bristol Palin before & after photos that surfaced late last week that had people asking, "Did she or didn't she?" Well, she did. The 20-year old admitted to US Weekly that she had corrective jaw surgery in December and it was necessary for "medical reasons." According to Palin, she says she looks "older, more mature and doesn't have as much of a chubby little baby face." It looks to me like she also got some liposuction in her cheeks & chin. WTF? Is she going to get that touched up everytime she gains a few "lb's?" If John McCain had picked another running mate in 2008, I wouldn't even have to write about this !!

I finally took my Honda in for service today, and to combat boredom in the waiting room, I asked my sales guy if he could take me for a spin in the new CRZ. It gets 39 Highway MPG, and I thought, what the heck? Maybe I could try to save some gas $ for a change. I knew I was in trouble when my sales guy was over-booked & passed me off to a new sales guy who just started a few weeks ago. HE called himself a rookie, not me. He was nice enough let me sit in the CRZ in the showroom. I got behind the wheel- all 5' 11" of me, and my knees were literally touching the steering wheel even with the seat reclined all the way back into the "no back seat." "You're very leggy. You won't be comfortable in this car. I can't lie to you," said the refreshingly honest sales guy. Leggy. I'll take it. I can think of worse things to be called. So much for the sport hybrid line for me. I'll stick with my Accord.

"It's been awhile," since Aaron Lewis from Staind sang about frozen food or I blogged about it. Today for lunch I went back to an old friend: The Weight Watchers Smart Ones Mini Rigatoni with Vodka Cream Sauce. It seems they have downsized the noodle size considerably since the last time I tried it. Maybe it has something to do with their new Points Plus program? Not sure, but I know something is up. Take a look at my x-ray noodle camera phone close-up vs. the larger sized noodles they have pictured on the box. Very misleading....Consider yourself warned! And if you're wondering why the box says "GINA KEEP" and not Gina Crash, well if we don't mark things in the communal fridge, then they have a tendency to be thrown away on trash day! Anyone who works in an office I'm sure can relate!!

This year I purchased a record number of Girl Scout cookies. However, I gave away most of the boxes to friends & family and had very few myself. So today when I was craving a cookie, I went searching around the office like a junkie looking for a fix. (I will refrain from the obvious Charlie Sheen jokes). I even searched the work area of my co-worker Bob who was selling the cookies. No sign of anything in the spot where I knew he kept his "stash," and no Bob. I couldn't find him anywhere. When I finally did, I made him call his "connection/dealer" right away to place an emergency order. They should be in tomorrow. Disaster is averted, for now....

Oh boy...PETA will be calling me on the Bone Phone any minute now. One of our Account Executives brought in a crock pot of venison chili for lunch today. I was reluctant to try it as I have never had deer meat, only a caribou burger once when vacationing in Canada's Northwest Territories. So I did what anyone would do, and forced my intern Regina to try it with me. Believe it or not, it was pretty tasty. I still feel bad about eating Bambi, but she was delicious.

Yesterday morning I premiered the new Foo Fighters song "Rope," from their upcoming new album Wasting Light, that will be out on April 12th. Today the band revealed the album art. It's kind of psychedelic. I think Dave is re-living his favorite bands from the 70's! Much has been said & anticipated about this album recorded in Dave's garage and produced by legendary Nirvana Nevermind producer Butch Vig. They should have called the album Dave's Garage! Can't wait to hear the rest of it. "Rope" grows on me every time I hear/play it.

I guess we won't get to hear Oprah shout, "MIIICHAEL VIIIIIIICK!" The Eagles QB bailed on Oprah! His interview was set to air next week on February, 24th, but Vick cancelled for "personal reasons." I don't blame him. Oprah, who is often pictured with her dogs on her O magazine, would have really grilled him on his dogfighting charges. To his credit, he is an amazing player and has been doing public service work with the Humane Society.

Once I got home last night after working for Scotty on Valentine's Day, I had not one but two really nice surprises waiting for me in my mailbox. First, my sister & her husband sent me 2 beautiful bracelets,( pictured in my blog), and a nice card. Then I noticed the new Rolling Stone was in my mailbox...This was weird since I let my subscription expire about 2 years ago in an effort to save some $. After some texting & investigating, I confirmed that it was my ex-boyfriend who renewed the subscription for me. I thought that was really cool. He has some good karma coming to him for that nice gesture. No matter what happened or how it ended, we always had music in common, and still do. That's the power of music and friendship. ED RENDELL IS BACK ON THE MARKET!

I didn't even have time to blog about the break-up of the White Stripes last week yet, when BAM- former PA Governor Ed Rendell & his wife, Federal Judge Marjorie Rendell, announced their separation after 40 years!! Call me psychic, but I saw this one coming. Much has been said of the recently slimmed down former cheese steak- loving Rendell. If I know anything, it's that when a guy suddenly gets in shape, it's because he is readying to put himself back on the market. Trust me on this. For more proof, it seems Rendell has been announcing a new job every day since leaving office. He announced a return to his Philly law firm recently and is entertaining numerous TV offers. Ed gives good TV. He famously lost his temper with Lesley Stahl recently on 60 Minutes. Maybe Ed is stockpiling job offers to pay for a divorce? This one could be costly as the other rumor around is that the former Governor has been spotted on several occasions with an attractive blonde he says is "just a friend," named Kirsten Snow who now works for the political action committee that oversees his campaign money from when he was Governor. SONY'S NO CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY!

I started to notice the other day that the left side of my SONY MDR-V600 headphones were no longer lying flat on my ear the way they should. This makes it annoying everytime I put on my headphones now. It flaps out much like a dog's ear. It appears a screw or piece of the headphones must have come loose. If it weren't for Scotty "MacGyver's" quick thinking to use electrical/duct tape to hold them down, I would really be in trouble. I just purchased these headphones less than a year ago on 5/21/2010 thru Sonystyle.com. I still have all the paperwork. Unfortunately, they only come with a 90 day limited warranty and 30 day return policy, both of which have since expired. With a retail price of well over $100, you would expect more from a product in that price range. When I called SONY's so called customer service department, they said I would have to ship the item back to SONY which takes 3 weeks for them to determine if they can even repair the item and/or if they may replace the item with a "comparable," not necessarily even the same item! So basically I would have to be without headphones for at least 3 weeks with no guarantee I would ever receive working headphones. When I told Amber the customer service rep that a full-time DJ who works at least 8 hours a day/ 5 days a week working without headphones for 3 weeks is like a customer service rep working without a phone for 3 weeks, she was unfazed and unhelpful. A shipping label is all she could provide me. And she kept saying this particular SONY model of headphones dated back to 1992 and she thought that I was sold an old model? WHAT? I have had at least 5 pairs of these very same headphones over the years from SONY stores to Best Buy, to now Sonystyle.com, as do most of my co-workers, and they are exactly the same model. When I told Amber the SONY "no customer service" service rep that I would hate to have to BLOG about my POOR EXPERIENCE WITH SONY, again she was unfazed.

My co-worker Bob roped me into buying a box of Girl Scout cookies for "fundraising" efforts. I went with the new Thanks-A-Lot's in the interest of being somewhat healthy. They are basically sandwich cookies with fudge on one side. They aren't setting the world on fire with taste, but whatever. The more disturbing thing is that they don't come in a box like regular Girl Scout Cookies, but in a plastic bag. As the bag says, "SAME COOKIES, SAME SIZE, LESS PACKAGING." WTF? If I wanted a bag of cookies, I just would have bought Keebler or Chips Ahoy! I had to scotch tape them up & seal them with a paper clip to keep them fresh instead of just closing a box. I hope my $ is being put to good use by the Girl Scouts. They do a really poor job of telling you where the money from cookie sales actually goes. Wouldn't it be nice if you went to pay a toll or something and they said, "It's all good. This one is on the Girl Scouts cuz you bought a box of Thanks-A-Lots!?

Anybody who knows me knows that I am a fanatic about not eating leftovers or eating anything that is beyond the expiration date. Seriously, I've been told I should work for the Food & Drug Administration (the FDA). Mysteriously this week, boxes of expired HERR's Baked cheddar cheese & sour cream potato chips appeared in our sister station's promotions office. I keep making excuses to go in there and steal another bag. The chips are all clearly marked with an expiration date of Oct. 23, 2010. Call me a cheap bastard, but I can't stop eating these expired chips. It's like a double high since I'm saving money and living on the edge at the same time. Time for a stint in snack rehab!

I may have jumped the gun on Adam "MCA" Yauch being totally cancer free. He issued a statement Friday denying reports that he was totally clear of the salivary gland cancer he's been fighting for a year and a half. The statement read, "While I'm grateful for all the positive energy people are sending my way, reports of my being totally cancer free are exaggerated. I'm continuing treatment, staying optimistic, and hoping to be cancer free in the near future."

This will be my last food blog for awhile, I promise! I just had to praise the LEAN GOURMET Five Cheese Lasagna. Lean Cuisine could learn a thing or two from this delicious little gem. First off, at $1.07 a box at Walmart, the Price is Right! And the cooking time is actually accurate and true, unlike some frozen meals that end up either frozen or charred after following their instructions. It's pretty close to restaurant-quality lasagna with a "flavorful for being frozen," sauce. It's certainly easier than trying to make it yourself at home with all those layers of squiggly noodles. Next time you need a quick lunch, give it a try. CRA$H. I think I'm going to start signing my name with a dollar sign this year like that KE$HA skank.

Linkin Park front man Chester Bennington is such a fan of the Saw franchise that he has been known to take breaks in the middle of their tours to catch the latest installment on the big screen! LOCAL SOLDIER RUNS MARATHON FOR OPERATION TOUCH OF HOME

I've been silenced by laryngitis for the last 3 days, but I still have my voice to blog about an amazing local soldier and charity. Back in August, I had the pleasure of participating in a benefit for Operation Touch of Home, at the Original Pocono Pub, (the OPP). It was there I met Dean Green, the founder of the local organization in Brodheadsville that sends care packages to the local men & women in uniform who are serving overseas in Iraq & Afghanistan. That day I also met Bill Wary, a local Army soldier from East Stroudsburg who has served 3 tours of duty in Iraq and has been the grateful recipient of many of these care packages assembled by the volunteers at Operation Touch of Home. As much as Bill Wary has given to us, he wanted to give back to Operation Touch of Home for all they have done for him. Bill recently ran the Steamtown Marathon in Scranton to raise money for Operation Touch of Home. Bill, (pictured here in my blog), finished the marathon in 4:26:02 and raised over $1,500 for Operation Touch of Home! Although the race has been run and won, Bill wanted me to let everybody know that donations can still be made out to Operation Touch of Home at PO Box 162, Brodheadsville, PA 18322 and he asks that the Steamtown Marathon be mentioned so that he can get credit for his final, final total. A longtime supporter of our troops, Kid has done it again! This time he has teamed up with his native Detroit Lions to donate 500 tickets to the National Guard & the Paralyzed Veterans Association for this Sunday's Lions/Rams game. My co-worker Bob was taunting people in the office today with leftover cupcakes in a Tupperware container. I'm happy to say I resisted the urge and passed on the tempting treat. Besides, I'm getting sick of all the cupcake hype. There's even a show on the Food Network called Cupcake Wars. There's a super trendy place in Georgetown that only sells cupcakes, and the line is around the corner apparently, according to my friends in DC. And there was a scene in the Sex & the City 2 trailer where Charlotte is making cupcakes in a cupcake apron. You see what I mean? It's getting out of control.

THIS JUST IN: Bob my co-worker just came BACK in the Boneyard with another cupcake for Scotty! I screamed, "BOBBBB! Go put that cupcake on Scotty's desk! I can't have it in here sitting next to me in the studio, or I'm gonna have to eat it!" GEESH!

A few days ago the A123 service code wrench popped up on my Honda. (This is not my car in the photo) It was supposed to be a simple oil & filter change & tire rotation. The "simple service" still ended up costing me over $200! And that was with 2 coupons!! I needed a new Hepi & Air filter again after replacing them both only 9,000 miles ago. I understand why some people try to change their own oil in the driveway! GEESH! Part of the reason must be because I am a chick and I would probably believe them if they told me I needed a new steering wheel, but come on people, you're killing me and my wallet!

It was pretty good even with lowfat ranch dressing. I realize that annoying, "Eat This Not That" guy would probably tell me I might has well have eaten 3 Big Macs, but whatever. Forget him for a moment, here's the best part: The salad came to a total of $8.26. I'm pretty sure I gave them only a $10 bill, cuz I only had about $13 to my name that day and I'm pretty sure no $20 bills were lurking in my wallet. The cashier gave me back $11.74 in change instead of $1.74. She had typed in that I gave her $20 in cash instead of $10 in cash. I hope she didn't notice the look on my face that said, "JACKPOT! I am rich!" Literally, I could live off $13 for a few days. I know it's bad I didn't say anything because her drawer probably came up short by $10 that night, but the extra cash came in handy. No judgement please, but seriously, what would YOU have done in that situation, seriously?

This Monday I had to go to the dreaded DMV to renew my expiring driver's license. I was obsessing about wanting to having the perfect hair, makeup and suntan day. Scotty said his fiancee was doing the exact same thing recently when she had to renew her license. She even cancelled a DMV trip cuz she didn't think her hair looked good that day. This got me thinking that this is one of the many ways that men and woman are different creatures. Dudes don't care what their hair looks like in a DMV photo. I ended up making it to the Snydersville DMV before they closed at 4:15 and taking a pretty decent photo after 3 tries. (You are allowed 4 attempts). I showed it to our receptionist Tina and she said, "Crash, You look just like a cover girl!" Wow that's the highest compliment. I guess I didn't have anything to worry about after all! SMILE:)

FELL OFF THE WAGON WITH PANCAKE BITES!

I've been so good lately trying not to eat junk from the drive-thru. I held strong for almost a month, until this morning.....I stopped off @ the new drive-thru Dunkin Donuts in Qtown innocently enough for an iced blueberry coffee with cream & one Splenda and a toasted, buttered English muffin. That is, until I saw the new Maple Pancake Sausage Bites staring down at me from the menu board. Damn it! "Are those really good?" I asked the attendant, as if she was going to tell me, no! "Oh yes, they are delicious. You should try a 3 pack. They come in 3 and 6 count," she informed me. So I caved. The first one was delicious. Hot, sweet and satisfying. By the second bite, I was beginning to regret my decision to veer off my healthy course. The second bite, although still good, reminded me it was still just a fatty sausage patty disguised in a bite size pancake that looks like a corn dog tater tot. I tossed out the last one @ the Allentown rest stop and felt full and greasy for most of the morning. It wasn't worth it. As the old saying goes, nothing tastes as good as thin feels!

Yesterday our own Scotty Brilliant hit up the Calvin Klein store at the Premium Outlets in Tannersville for this new trucker hat. The only thing we aren't sure about is the little change purse pocket on the side of his head. By the way that is my finger in the photo, not Scotty's in case you were wondering why he has girly hands:) Let us know what you think. Make a comment on the blog. I can't believe it! I just read that Al & Tipper Gore are separating after 40 years of marriage! GEESH what hope is there for the rest of us? These two baby boomers were always showing public displays of affection and dancing poorly in public to Fleetwood Mac songs. I did not see this one coming. The only thing I can think of is that he enjoyed hugging trees more than Tipper. I know it's the worst joke ever, but I couldn't help it. I am in shock!
