You'll notice Dave Grohl is more in the background of this photo as opposed to his band mates John Paul Jones and Josh Homme. Interesting....very humble of you, Dave!

FOLLOW-UP ON EVAN LYSACEK

It seems my boy Evan Lysacek is dating fellow Olympic gold medalist Nastia Liukin- the gymnast. The couple has been together since last summer. According to People magazine, they met during the 2008 NBS special Skating & Gymnastics Spectacular.

THIS SKATER BOY IS HOT!

I know Men's Figure Skating is not the manliest of sports, but the new Olympic Golden Boy Evan Lysacek is hot ! Sweet Lord! Described by pesky Olympic commentators as having "model good looks" and being "taller than most skaters" at well over 6 feet, combined with his slicked-back jet black hair and 5:00 shadow, I can't wait for this guy's Wheaties box! I'm going to buy the entire supply in the cereal aisle! Oh yeah, and congrats to Evan on being the first guy since 1988 to win the gold medal in Men's Figure Skating.

PEARL JAM ON SNL MARCH 13TH!

Pearl Jam are all booked and set to appear as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live (SNL) on March 13th. No word yet on who will host, but many people are rallying for Betty White. Pearl Jam have not played the tiny SNL stage since 2006 when Lindsey Lohan was the host.

SOUNDGARDEN TO CO-HEADLINE LOLLAPALOOZA?

You know I believe EVERYTHING I read and here's the latest thing I have read: The rumors have started that the recently re-united Soundgarden may co-headline this year's Lollapalooza with Green Day & blah blah blah blah blah Lady Gaga! The legendary festival is scheduled for August 6th-8th @ Grant Park in Chicago. It's not official yet, so stay tuned for official details.

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW, PRESIDENTS?

I left my cell phone home today and I am going insane without it! I keep thinking I'm missing a call or a text even if most likely no one is calling or texting!! It's the fear of the unknown that's killing me! Maybe since today is President's Day, I subconsciously left it home to see what it was like to be one of the early presidents who didn't have the luxury of cell phones and quality dental care. Can you imagine the Founding Fathers texting each other? John Adams would be all, "Dude, I totally need your signature on this Constitution thing!" Okay, maybe not.

THE BIG MAC SNACK WRAP!

I haven't blogged about food in awhile. The other day I had my first Big Mac Snack Wrap at McDonald's, and now I have a new fast food obsession. Try it with a dollar fry and you have yourself a delicious snack. Everything you love about the Big Mac like that "special sauce," aka thousand island dressing, minus all those excessive sesame seed buns! I went thru the drive-thru last night,( after going to the gym at least!) for one. Try it without the cheese-it saves a few calories and they never get the cheese melted in those little trays they heat them up in anyway. Bone appetit!

NOT SO SMART ONES!

This is the second time I've had to blog about Weight Watchers Smart Ones frozen entrees. A few months back I found no cheese in my Macaroni & Cheese. Today I noticed the Smart Ones Fettucini Alfredo box I purchased yesterday at TARGET seemed a little lighter than normal. Sho 'Nuff the damn thing was 1/2 plastic container and hardly any frozen food. When I microwaved it, it had only 3 noodles! 3 noodles-WTF? So I had to call the 800 # on the box again and complain. The telephone operator said the Smart One meals are filled and weighed by a machine. That's the first problem! A real person would know better. Bring back people and jobs instead of machines!! The Heinz Food corporation is supposed to be sending me coupons in the mail. I guess so I can buy more 1/2 machine-filled entrees!!
